New Census Data Released

The official beginning of the redistricting process has come. On Thursday, August 12, the 2020 Census data was released. After a few days to convert it into a more user-friendly format, the drawing of the new maps will begin.

These district lines determine funding for public services like schools, roads, hospitals, and healthcare facilities and impacts our elections for the next decade. Stopping gerrymandering during the process of drawing these lines is essential for a fair and free election down the road.

Keep an eye on the process. For more information on how to ensure fair maps, go here.
