In GROWW Education, we believe that our communities, region, and state are strongest when each of us and our neighbors have the skills and confidence to build power and lead right here at home.
Our GROWW is an independent organization and a vehicle for western Wisconsinites to use and mobilize to make the change we need. Together, in 2025, we have trained 178 leaders in grassroots organizing skills.
At the heart of both organizations’ missions is the belief that we all have the power to make a difference when we step up, join together, and get organized. Through community campaigns, coaching, and training opportunities, GROWW Education wrestles with the pressing issues facing western Wisconsinites to make our counties, towns, and neighborhoods places where people can live safely, raise a family, drink clean water, and see a doctor if they get sick.
GROWW Education and our sister organization GROWW are two parts of one shared vision: a future where ordinary people, not wealthy special interests, shape the decisions that affect our lives and communities. As a 501(c)(3),GROWW Education make this work together possible by organizing support for our work and community trainings that develop skills and help make sense of the political moment we’re in. This work prepares people to step into public life with confidence, clarity, and purpose.
GROWW is the vehicle for putting that leadership into action. As a sister 501(c)(4) organization, GROWW organizes members to learn in action: running campaigns, taking public action, and winning concrete changes that protect our communities and strengthen democracy. Together, GROWW Education and GROWW form a unified strategy: leadership education that builds our up our people and organizing that turns that leadership into lasting power across Western Wisconsin.
