Learning To Connect

Talking with the people of Pierce County and the surrounding communities is an essential part of the work that we do. As a nonpartisan organization, we listen and work to understand everyone. By identifying shared values, we hope to depolarize the neighborhood, one conversation at a time.

What we have found to be most effective when having these conversations is a tactic called Deep Canvassing. Deep Canvassing uses stories, experiences, and shared values to connect with the community. To truly increase the number of productive conversations, we reach out to you.

We are offering a full day training to give you the opportunity to learn and practice the craft of Deep Canvassing on May 7th at the Unitarian Universalist Society in River Falls. Hope to see you there!
