Voting Resources for the Spring Elections

The upcoming election for the next Wisconsin Supreme Court Judge is just over a week away. On April 4th, our choice will have long-term impacts. Justices elected to the court serve for 10 years. Decisions made on abortion, redistricting, gun issues, election laws, environmental protections, and more will be impacted. We deserve a brighter future for years to come. Are you voting on April 4th?

It is vitally important that your voice and your vote are heard! Make sure you have a plan for how you are voting this spring:

Vote Early

Early voting starts on March 21 and typically ends a couple of days before Election Day. Also known as In-Person Absentee voting, Early voting allows you to skip the crowd on April 4th and get your vote in early. If you are not voting on April 4th, this is your chance to cast your ballot. Your options of where you can early vote are based on where you live and what your municipal clerk’s office offers. Grab a valid ID and find your early voting location here.

Be An Informed Voter

What’s on your ballot? While you can definitely wait to decide who to vote for at the ballot box, we encourage you to know who on the ballot shares your values. An informed voter is a powerful voter. The big statewide election will elect a new Wisconsin Supreme Court justice, but depending on where you are, you might have referendums to vote on. If you want to take a look at your ballot, you can find it here.

Remind your friends and family to vote

There is a lot on the line for us, our neighbors, and the communities we love. We want a court that reflects Wisconsin values, not partisan politics. Remind your friends and family all vote on or before April 4th. Make a plan to carpool to your polling place. After you vote, send a text to let them know. This April, we can come together to elect a justice who will uphold laws that ensure everyone’s voice is heard.
